There are times when something within us calls for stillness, space and reconnection.

Set within the peaceful Cumbrian landscape near Ullswater, The Peace Barn offers a calm and nurturing setting surrounded by rolling hills, open skies and nature. A place to step away from the pace of everyday life and spend some time reconnecting with yourself on a deeper level.

This weekend retreat is an invitation to gently explore the chakra system through crystals, essential oils, meditation, reflection and sound — not simply as something to learn about, but as something to truly experience within your own energy.

Over the weekend we will journey through each chakra together, exploring the different aspects of ourselves connected to these energy centres.

Root – grounding, safety, stability and support

Sacral – creativity, emotions, flow and pleasure

Solar Plexus – confidence, self-worth and personal power

Heart – love, compassion, balance and connection

Throat – voice, truth, expression and communication

Third Eye – intuition, insight and inner wisdom

Crown – stillness, connection and spiritual awareness

We will explore what it looks like to be out of balance and how you can use a range of tools and techniques to bring greater harmony and awareness to each chakra. Every session will include a blend of:

• Guided teaching and discussion

• Workbook exploration

• Crystal exploration

• Essential oil experience

• Meditation and reflection

• Oracle card insights

• Sound and energy integration

This weekend is not about needing to "fix" yourself. It is an opportunity to gently reconnect with the parts of yourself that can become lost beneath the pace and demands of everyday life. Through meditation, sound, Reiki, crystals, reflection and shared space, the chakra journey becomes something to truly feel and experience, allowing a deeper awareness of yourself and your energy to unfold naturally throughout the weekend.

Alongside the workshops, there will also be time to slow down and simply be. You may wish to spend time journaling quietly, walking in nature, soaking in the hot tub beneath the Cumbrian skies or gathering around the fire pit in the evening for conversation and connection.

This retreat is as much about giving yourself space as it is about exploring the chakras.

With over 25 years of experience working with energy in its many forms, I will be gently weaving together sound, meditation, Reiki, crystals and reflection throughout the weekend to create a warm and supportive space for your journey.

Accommodation

The Peace Barn offers a mixture of shared and private accommodation.

Available rooms include:

• Twin rooms with shared bathroom facilities

• Twin en-suite rooms

• Single occupancy en-suite rooms

Rooms will be allocated on a first booked, first served basis. If you are booking with a friend and would like to share a twin room, please let me know when booking.

As all rooms are offered at the same price, room selection will be allocated in booking order, with early bookings receiving first choice of available accommodation.

A £100 non-refundable deposit secures your place, with the remaining balance payable before the retreat.
